Exploring the Second Chiropractic Principle

The Expression of Intelligence through Matter

Chiropractic care is a holistic healthcare discipline that focuses on the relationship between the spine, nervous system, and overall well-being. Guided by a set of fundamental principles, chiropractors aim to facilitate the body’s natural healing abilities. In today’s Wellness Wednesday, we will delve into the second chiropractic principle, which centers around the expression of intelligence through matter, and how it relates to the meaning of life within the context of chiropractic philosophy.

Second Chiropractic Principle

Expression of Intelligence through Matter

Principle 2 builds upon the last post and Principle 1. It states the following:

Principle 2 – The expression of this intelligence through matter is the chiropractic meaning of life.

Last week, we talked about the first principle and how we can see universal intelligence everywhere we look and in everything we see. The second chiropractic principle suggests that the meaning of life, within the chiropractic framework, is the expression of intelligence through matter. This principle builds upon the understanding that an innate intelligence exists within every individual, coordinating and regulating all bodily functions. It acknowledges that this intelligence is not solely limited to the realm of the mind or consciousness but extends to the physical body as well.

For example, when we look at a person sitting at a table, we see intelligence in three different forms: universal, educated, and innate.

First, universal intelligence is what instructs all of the molecules and atoms within the table to interact with each other in different chemical bonds and structures. It also is what dictates the vibration of every single atom of the table.

Second, we see educated intelligence in the structure and function of the table (more on this later).

Lastly, we see innate intelligence. This is universal intelligence within the person sitting at the table that is coordinating every single function and biochemical process that takes place within their body without them ever having to even think of it.

Understanding the Principle

Of the three different forms of intelligence listed above, how many of them are we in control of? Only one of the three. We do not get to dictate universal or innate intelligence. However, we can educate ourselves and have influence over educated intelligence which can influence our body’s innate intelligence.

As a chiropractor, I take education very seriously. This is the reason we offer so many different classes in our office. We do our best to create an education platform that allows us to teach our patients to be conscious of educated intelligence and its importance and how it can help innate intelligence be expressed.

For instance, when I feel the spine and muscles (matter) of an athletic practice member, they feel significantly different than a person who chooses to never work out or who always eats poorly. In both people we see their educated intelligence being expressed through their lifestyle choices that influence their health.

The Role of Chiropractic Care

Chiropractors work with the spine and nervous system to promote the body’s innate ability to express intelligence through matter. We know that misalignments in the spine, known as subluxations, can interfere with the transmission of nerve signals and disrupt the body’s innate intelligence’s ability to fully be expressed. By adjusting the spine and using other techniques (denneroll, etc), we aim to correct these subluxations, allowing the nervous system to function optimally and facilitating the expression of the body’s innate intelligence.

As an individual progresses with consistent chiropractic care, the correction of subluxations enables the body to exhibit enhanced expression of its innate intelligence. We measure and note the difference in the matter of the body as it begins to give evidence of a more efficient and purposeful expression of life. We do this through palpation, thermography, HRV, x-rays and other measures

Conclusion

A clear distinction exists between a swiftly flowing river and a dwindling stream. Both manifest life, albeit at varying intensities. In the presence of subluxation, we recognize that nerve traffic lacks efficient movement, akin to the stagnancy of a dying stream. Conversely, by eliminating interference within the nervous system, we aim to resemble the energetic flow of a fast-moving river. Our aspiration is for you to embody the vibrancy of the river rather than the decline of the dying stream.

My utmost desire is for this post to impart to you a deeper comprehension of chiropractic and its impact on your body. Additionally, I hope it instills within you a genuine eagerness to engage in one of our master classes, where together we can utilize educated intelligence to make wiser life choices, ultimately leading to a healthier and more fulfilling existence.
